This page describes the conditions of use applicable to your use of the beepurple website and for the purpose of this document, beepurple and the University of Brighton may be referred to as 'we', 'our' and 'the university'.
Introduction
Beepurple is a project delivered by the Economic and Social Engagement Department at the University of Brighton.
By viewing any of the University of Brighton's websites, you are deemed to consent to all terms and conditions set out on this page. By browsing the website you accept that you are bound by the current terms and conditions and notices, and we therefore recommend that you check these each time you revisit the site. We authorise you to view the material contained within our websites and print off one hard copy of pages contained within our websites, for your own non-commercial research or study purposes only.
Unless you are a student, alumni or member of staff at the University of Brighton, we do not authorise downloading (except as is necessary to view page content), copying, reproduction, storage in a retrieval system, modification, re-publishing, leasing, sub-licensing, posting, broadcasting, transmitting, creation of works from or in any way commercially exploiting any of the content or material accessed from our websites.
Student, alumni of members of staff of the University of Brighton are permitted to download, free of charge, any material from our ‘Downloads’ section.

Information we collect as you browse our website
Our web servers automatically collect standard information for each visit that they receive. This data contains the following information about you: the internet address of the computer you are using, the type of browser and operating system you are using and the internet address of the website from which you came from. It also contains some connection information such as the page or service you are requesting and the date and time of the request. This information is used for the sole purpose of statistical information gathering and demographics relating to the university's websites and enables us to determine general visitor patterns and statistics within our pages. This statistical data is then fed back into future design and usability modifications made to our web pages.
Some of our sites may use cookies to customise web page content. We do not use cookies to collect additional information about you.
