Who we are

Beepurple’s main aims are to stimulate entrepreneurship amongst students, staff and alumni, and develop the enterprise skills of its members.

By joining beepurple, you will gain key business skills and entrepreneurial attitudes at free evening workshops held every month that give you the edge on other graduates.

What is "beepurple"?
"Beepurple" is a colour on the ultra-violet scale discovered by the scientist Karl von Frisch.  Bees are one of the few creatures who can see this colour, which is transmitted by flowers that have pollen ready for harvesting.  This became known as "bee purple".

Beepurple reflects the idea that entrepreneurs see opportunities others do not.

The beepurple network is a programme delivered by Business Development and Enterprise Office at the University of Brighton.
